Efficient Use of 60 Day Summary

Using the 60 day summary during recertification visits can save time and streamline processes. Although not required, it’s highly recommended.

Adding a 60 Day Summary in POC

1. From a recertification visit note, go to the Orders/Goals screen (from Barnestorm Office it will be on the 485 screen.)
2. From Box 22 Goals, click Add 60 Day Summary to append the summary text to the Goals section.
3. Edit the text as needed.

Benefits

• Reminder: Employees are prompted to complete the summary.
• Efficiency: Only one document to send to and from the doctor.
• Proof: A signed copy of the 485 confirms completion.
