How to Run the Report

You can run this report for QI purposes - it will show you select OASIS answers that have gotten worse, better or mixed answers.

Barnestorm Office click on Reports > OASIS > 13.39 Select OASIS-C Stats or if older OASIS then use 13.29 Select OASIS Stats. 

o From / Thru = Based on dates using sequence date on the OASIS.

o Program(s) / Payer(s) / Employee(s) = Filter report by entering program, payer, employee number(s). Or leave blank to select all.

o Active Patients Only = Will select patient who are currently active.

o Skip Those With Only 1 Answer = Skips patients who have only one answer within the selected OASIS question.

o All = Selects all OASIS regardless of answer.

o Got Worse Only = Only selects OASIS where the answers got worse.

o Improved Only = Only selects OASIS where the answers improved.

o Mixed Answers = Select OASIS that did not stay the same, got worse or improve.

Select the bullet for the OASIS questions you would like to see results on. If you select ADLs, you will also need to select which specific ADL questions you would like to pull up (max of four ADLs).

Abnormality of Gait searches for the answers to M1000 AND looks for ICD codes 781.2 or R26 range from the OASIS M1021-1023 question. 

o Click on Print.

How to Read the Report

o The OASIS questions that you have selected.

o Under each OASIS question you will see all answers based on the options you have selected.
