How to Look Up Barnestorm Updates - Version

Updates to Barnestorm Office and Point of Care are published as needed.  If changes impact billing or the inability to access a feature, then updates will go out as soon as possible. The version number will identify if an update was released.

Where to find the version numbers

There are three ways to locate the version numbers.

A) From both Barnestorm Office and Point of Care, you can find the version number located at the bottom of the login screen. B) You can find it from Barnestorm Office by clicking on the information icon at the top of the task bar. You can get to this screen from Office or POC by pressing Ctrl+Alt+V. C) Point of Care has the version listed in the header of the screen, along with the employee who is logged in.

How to read the version number

The way the version number is published is based on the date it is sent out. The first digit will be a number one, then a dot.  The next four digits will be the year in YYYY format.  The next four digits is the month and day.  Then the next 1-2 digits is the number of times it was published on that date.

So, for the Barnestorm POC version from above; it was published in the year 2013, month of September, on the 9th day -  1.2013.0909.1
