Web-Based Admission Package

This feature allows you to use our web-based documents feature in the patient’s home. The special function in this feature will allow you to capture signatures at the time of the visit. Contact customersupport@barnestorm.com for pricing information on this feature.

You can pull up your forms from Barnestorm Office, Point of Care, or any other device.

Barnestorm Office

With an internet connection, go to the Select Patient screen and select the patient. Use the ‘VIEWING’ dropdown list to select ‘Admission Package’.

Point of Care

Point of Care forms are downloaded locally and then synchronizes the completed forms during the sync process. The sync process will move the forms to the Cloud.

From Point of Care, select the patient from the Select Patient screen. Select the ‘Admit Package’ button.

A list of your agency's forms will appear in alphabetical order. Double click the form you wish to complete.

Some information may automatically pull from the patient’s referral. You will be able to complete the documentation by checking boxes, adding text to supplied text fields, and adding the patient/agency rep signature with date and time.

To add a signature: click anywhere in the blank area where the signature line is located. A large, blue box will appear. Have the recipient sign anywhere in the blue box. The bigger the better. If the signature needs to be redone at this point, select the 'Clear' button towards the bottom. Once you are satisfied with the signature click 'Save Signature'. You will see the patient’s signature and the date/time it took place if your form has a spot for the date.

Click on the save icon and then close out of the form when you are finished. You will be redirected to the list of forms. You’ll notice the form will have a completed status in the description.

Once you are finished you will complete a Synchronize to send the forms to the Cloud.

Note: The refresh button next to the Admit Package button will update the forms if they have been updated. Original copies of the form are saved locally. The refresh button will grab the most recent copy in cases where the actual form has been updated.
